Chris Davies MEP
Our local MEP, Chris Davies, is the Environment and Public Health spokesman for Liberals and Democrats across Europe in the Parliament. He has been MEP for our area since 1999, and prior to that was the MP for neighbouring Littleborough & Saddleworth.
The UK Liberal Democrats are part of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) in the Parliament. This is the third largest political group and comprises 88 members from liberal parties in 19 EU countries.
